GALLOWAY, N.J. — Celine Boutier won the 2026 edition of the ShopRite LPGA powered by Wakefern on Sunday, capturing her second career victory at Seaview Hotel and Golf Club’s Bay Course.
After entering the final round four strokes behind the leader, Boutier found her rhythm on Sunday and secured her first win of the 2026 season.
Boutier’s day carried extra meaning before she even stepped onto the course, as she granted a wish to 11-year-old Evelyn King-White earlier in the morning. Evelyn, who is battling leukemia, was granted her wish to go to Disney World, which was delivered by Boutier. The emotional start helped set the tone for a memorable final round.
“It was really fun for me to be able to do that for her,” Boutier said. “It was very humbling and very nice to be able to meet her. She was so excited.”
Following the special moment, the 32-year-old delivered one of her best rounds of the weekend, carding a final-round 66.
Boutier opened aggressively with birdies on holes 1 and 3 before catching fire again on the back half of the front nine, making birdies holes 8, 9, and 10 consecutively. Her biggest moment came on hole 14, where she buried a 35-foot birdie putt to take sole possession of the lead. From there, Boutier stayed composed and closed out the tournament.
“It was a very nice surprise, Boutier said. “I was trying to focus on the speed because I could tell it was going to be – it was uphill into the wind, so I could tell I had to give a little bit of a push.”
The victory marked the seventh LPGA Tour win of Boutier’s career and made her the first French golfer to win on the LPGA Tour this season. After the round, Boutier reflected on returning to Seaview, a course that has brought her success before.
“It's always good to be back, like you said. I feel like I have some good memories,” Boutier said. “Then to have a chance to win today is definitely something very special. I think it's a great tournament, very special for me, so I was really excited to be able to have another win here.”
Boutier now joins an elite group of two-time winners at Seaview including LPGA Hall-of-Famers Anna Nordqvist, Julie Inkster, Annika Sörenstam, and Betsy King.
“I was definitely not aware of that list. Definitely incredible to be among them,” Boutier said. “I definitely feel like I have a lot to do to even be remotely close to what they achieved in the sport. Yeah, obviously honored to be on the same list as these players.”
Finishing runner-up was Thai golfer Arpichaya Yubol, who finished the tournament at eight-under par. Yubol saved her best golf for Sunday and pushed Boutier throughout the afternoon in search of her first LPGA Tour victory.
Yubol was outstanding during the final round, shooting a 66. The 24-year-old especially shined on the back nine, where she birdied five holes, including two par-3s.
“So for me, just keep believing in myself, in process, and then just keep practicing, keep playing, and enjoy what I am now,” Yubol said. “Golf like this week, next week, even next year, anything like this can happen.”
Lauren Walsh finished alone in third place at seven-under par, recording the best finish of her professional career. Walsh also closed the weekend with her strongest round, shooting a final-round 67.
Walsh looked confident throughout Sunday’s round, birdieing three holes on the front nine before adding two more birdies on the back.
Outside of the top three finishers, Team ShopRite and Epson Tour members Gianna Clemente and Rachel Kuehn impressed by making the cut and competing through the weekend.
Clemente played a strong front nine on Sunday before struggling on the back, ultimately finishing the tournament at one-under par and tied for 30th place. Kuehn also finished at one-under, highlighted by her best round of the week on Sunday, when she shot a four-under 67.
The LPGA Tour now shifts its focus to the U.S. Women's Open, scheduled for June 4–7 at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif.
