GALLOWAY, N.J., May 25, 2026 – Megan Gormley and Samantha Wagner captured the final two spots via a playoff at today’s Monday Qualifier for the 2026 ShopRite LPGA powered by Wakefern, taking place May 29-31 at Seaview Hotel and Golf Club in Galloway, N.J.

Gormley, daughter of Palos Verdes Golf Club Director of Golf Jim Gormley, recently earned her Masters degree in Sports Industry Management from Georgetown University. The former BIG EAST Player of the Year at Georgetown and her father become the latest father-daughter duo who will have competed in both a PGA TOUR event and an LPGA Tour event. Jim Gormley competed in the PGA TOUR’s Los Angeles Open at Riviera Country Club in 2006 and 2009.

Wagner is coming off a season-best T5 finish at the Copper Rock Championship on the Epson Tour and captured her first LPGA Tour win in 2025. Both turned in a 2-under par 69 and earned the final two spots via a three-person sudden death playoff at the Bay Course.

Joining them in the field as a sponsor invitation is graduating high school senior Mia Hammond, who will enroll at Duke University this fall as a member of the Duke women’s golf team, and Epson Tour professional Annabelle Pancake-Webb, who has three top-five finishes on the Epson Tour in 2026.

Hammond, the only amateur golfer to win on the Epson Tour in 2025 (Greater Toledo Classic), intended to play in the Monday Qualifier at Seaview but was unable with her high school graduation postponed and rescheduled for today. Her graduation present from the tournament is a sponsor invitation to compete this week on the LPGA Tour.

Pancake-Webb has made the cut in all seven of her Epson Tour starts this season, highlighted by two runner-up finishes. She has finished T2 and T5 in her two most-recent Epson Tour events in May.
